Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 3, 2026
In compliance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, what types we use, what we use them for, and how you can manage your preferences.
1. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit them. They allow the website to remember information about your visit, such as your preferred language, login, and other settings, making your next visit easier and the site more useful to you.
Cookies can be "first-party" (set by the website you visit) or "third-party" (set by other websites whose services are used by the page you visit, such as analytics services).
2. Cookie Usage Controller
- Controller: EntrenAI
- Websites: entrenai.app, www.entrenai.app
- Contact email: privacidad@entrenai.app
📋 Legal identification of the controller (Art. 10 LSSI-CE)
- Holder: Iván López Martín
- NIF: 70837112X
- Address: Calle Flor de Loto 1, Ávila, España
3. Types of Cookies We Use
We classify cookies into four categories based on their purpose:
3.1 Essential Cookies (Strictly Necessary)
✓ These cookies are essential for the basic functioning of the website. They do not require your consent and cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| entrenai_session | EntrenAI | Maintain the authenticated user session. It is httpOnly: the page JavaScript cannot read it. | 30 days |
| entrenai_logged_in | EntrenAI | Tells the interface whether a session is open, so it can show "My account" instead of "Log in". It holds no personal data and is not used to authenticate. | 30 days |
| NEXT_LOCALE | EntrenAI | Remember your language preference (ES/EN) | 1 year |
3.2 Functional Cookies (Preferences)
✓ This website uses no functional cookies beyond the essential ones above. Your language is remembered with NEXT_LOCALE, already listed in the previous section.
We do store one thing in your browser local storage, which technically is not a cookie because it never travels to our server: if we ever ask you about non-essential cookies, your answer stays there (key entrenai_consentimiento) so we do not ask again on every visit. Clearing the site data in your browser removes it.
3.3 Analytics Cookies (Performance)
✓ This website does NOT use analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager and no other measurement tool: we do not track your browsing across the site.
Until 3 September 2026 this policy said we used Google Analytics. That was not accurate: the site never actually loaded it. It has been corrected, and we say so here rather than quietly removing it.
3.4 Marketing Cookies (Advertising)
✓ Currently, EntrenAI does NOT use marketing or behavioral advertising cookies. We do not track your activity on other websites or show personalized ads.
Until 3 September 2026 the site loaded the Google AdSense script, although it never displayed a single ad. It has been removed entirely, along with the third-party consent manager that came with it. Since then there is no advertising script on the site.
If we implement marketing cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your explicit consent before loading anything.
4. Other Tracking Technologies
In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies:
Local Storage
We store data in the browser to improve performance and remember preferences. Similar to cookies but with greater capacity.
Session Storage
Temporary data that is deleted when you close the browser. Used to maintain state during your browsing.
Tracking Pixels (Web Beacons)
Small invisible images that help us count visits to specific pages and measure the effectiveness of our email communications.
🚫 Fingerprinting
We do NOT use fingerprinting techniques (device identification through unique browser characteristics) to track users.
5. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences
5.1 On Our Website
You can modify your cookie preferences at any time using our cookie banner or by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of our website.
5.2 In Your Browser
You can also configure your browser to block, delete, or alert you about cookies. Below you will find links to instructions for the most common browsers:
⚠️ Please note that blocking all cookies may negatively affect website functionality. Some features may not work correctly without essential cookies.
5.4 "Do Not Track" and "Global Privacy Control" Signals
We honor automated opt-out signals sent by your browser:
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): If your browser sends the GPC signal, we interpret it as a valid opt-out request for the sale/sharing of personal data under CCPA/CPRA and similar laws.
- Do Not Track (DNT): There is currently no consensus standard for the DNT signal. If detected, we apply the same data minimization and no-sharing principles as by default: we do not perform behavioral advertising or profiling in any case.
5.5 Consent Record
We currently ask for no consent at all, because every cookie on the site is strictly necessary, so there is no consent record to keep. If we ever add non-essential cookies, your answer (with its date and the version of the categories) will be stored ONLY in your own browser local storage: it is not sent to our servers and not kept in any database of ours. You can delete it by clearing the site data.
6. Third-Party Cookies and Links to Their Policies
Some third-party services may set their own cookies when you use our website. These third parties have their own privacy policies:
| Service | Purpose | Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosting and performance analytics | View policy |
| Supabase | Backend and authentication | View policy |
7. Legal Basis for Cookie Use
Essential Cookies
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and technical necessity. These cookies are strictly necessary to provide the service you requested.
Functional, Analytics, and Marketing Cookies
Legal basis: User consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE). Right now this legal basis applies to nothing, because the site uses no cookies in these three categories. If we add any, it will not load until you explicitly accept, and you will be able to change your mind at any time.
8. Your Rights
Regarding data processing through cookies, you have the following rights under GDPR and LOPDGDD:
- Right to withdraw your consent at any time
- Right of access to your data
- Right to rectification and erasure
- Right to data portability
- Right to lodge a complaint with the AEPD (www.aepd.es)
To exercise these rights, contact: privacidad@entrenai.app
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We recommend reviewing this page periodically. The "last updated" date at the top indicates when the last modification was made.
